Match Procedure
Each Individual Match consists of 3 - 1 minuts periods. The 1st period begins with both wrestlers standing in a nuetral position. At the end of the 1st period, the referee will conduct a coin toss. The winner of the toss will have 4 options to start the 2nd period.
1. Standing neutral
2. To of the referee's position
3. bottom of the referee's position
4. Defer-Save his option for the 3rd period
The 3rd period will begin with the coin toss loser having his choice, unless the winner deferred his decision.
COACHES USUALLY MAKE DECISIONS.
Scoring:
Fall or "PIN" A wrestler holdingan opponent's shoulder blades to the mat for 2 successive seconds. Results in a match over.
Decision: Any Match not ending in a fall is decided by points accumulated during the bout.
Takedown: A wrestler taking his opponent down, and gaining control from a nuetral position. 2 points.
Escape: A wrestler freeing himself from the other guys control. 1 point.
Reversal: Two wrestlers changing positions, control going from one, to the other. 2 points.
Near Fall: 1 Shoulder blade touching the mat and the other within 45 degrees of the mat for 2 successive seconds. 2 points.
If the above occurance takes places for 5 successive seconds. 3 points
Penalty Points:
False start - 1st time warning, 2nd time 1 point
stalling - 1st time warning, 2nd time 1 point
Illegal holds - (Locking Hands, Body Slams, Full Nelson, Grabbing Uniform, Peeling Fingers, etc.)
1st offense - 1 point
2nd offense - 1 point
3rd offense - 2 points
4th offense - Disqualification
Locking hands is permitted on takedowns and during pinning combinations
